A topic for fresh research. As of October 2026: - Psilocybin: a small placebo-controlled trial (2022) gave no statistically proven result; an extension without placebo (2024) showed fewer attacks. Larger trials are needed. - BOL-148, a non-hallucinogenic LSD analogue: funding for a trial in Germany was raised in 2026. - CGRP antibodies: eptinezumab and erenumab did not beat placebo in 2025.
